Dr. Clark's approach is neurodiversity-affirming. Differences in how a child's brain works are not flaws to be fixed, and an evaluation should leave a child understanding themselves better, not feeling like something is wrong with them. Sessions are paced for real kids, with breaks, warmth, and a fair amount of fun.
Because ADHD and autism overlap, co-occur, and get mistaken for each other, and because anxiety, learning differences, and giftedness can look like either, this isn't a narrow "ADHD test" or "autism test." What's included
The evaluation includes: A thorough parent interview; direct evaluation with your child using standardized measures of attention, learning, social understanding, and reasoning; teacher input through rating scales, if needed; assessment of overlapping conditions, including the ADHD/autism differential; a plain-language report with a clear diagnostic picture and specific recommendations for home and school; a parent feedback session; and documentation written to support 504 and IEP discussions.
How it works
Parent interview first, often by video so you can talk freely. Testing is in person in Belton, usually across 1-2 visits at your child's best time of day, with feedback about 2-3 weeks later.
