Psychological evaluations focus primarily on behavioral and emotional functioning. It involves assessing mental health and clarifying diagnoses for depression, anxiety, and other psychological disorders, as well as providing appropriate recommendations for treatment and management.
The Path to Better Understanding
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health symptoms? Have you tried seeking help in the past but didn't achieve a positive outcome?
Through a comprehensive assessment, you can get valuable insights into your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and overall functioning — helping you better understand yourself and supporting your therapeutic path. Much like medical exams are essential for acquiring information about a patient's physical symptoms and treatment plan, psychological testing follows a similar logic, playing a pivotal role in the treatment's success. |
Psychological testing plays a crucial role in reaching a diagnosis and providing guidance for a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

What to Expect During an Evaluation
We'll start with a thorough interview to assess your current state and review your medical, psychological, and social history. You may be asked to bring a family member or friend who can provide additional information to the interview.
After the initial interview, you will be given a series of standardized tests that best suit your specific situation. These tests typically involve oral questions, paper and pencil, computers, the manipulation of materials such as blocks and puzzles, and other procedures. After we analyze all of the information and integrate it into a comprehensive report, we will meet again for a follow-up appointment. We will go over the results together and share our recommendations for further examination and treatment plan. |
